Is Lorazepam safe to take if you have had a stroke? I would say it's OK because lorasepam(Ativan) is a Benzedrine tranquilizer which is not a contributing factor for having a stroke.Clonazepam (Klonopin) and lorazepam (Ativan) are medications in a class of drugs called benzodiazepines....
